2025 CPL Kit Launch: York United unveil Historia, Metropolis kits

York United FC have unveiled their primary and alternate kits, produced by Macron, for the 2025 Canadian Premier League season.

This year’s primary jersey, dubbed ‘Historia,’ is a striking deep green jersey with navy accents and a tailored collar. Inspired by Toronto’s Old City Hall, the kit has a detailed pattern that echoes the floral motifs and ornate stonework on the building’s facade. Its timeless look is complemented by the simplified secondary emblem used as the jersey’s crest, with an interlocked Y and U monogram that appears in York’s primary badge.

The secondary kit for 2025, also known as ‘Metropolis,’ also pays tribute to the club’s hometown, using a motif of the six interlocking loops that appeared on the former flag of Metropolitan Toronto. The subtle texture is included throughout the sharp white kit, with green trim along the cuffs and collar to create a clean, modern look and reflects Toronto’s evolution.

York United’s 2025 kits each feature front-of-jersey partner Carlsberg.

Both of York’s 2025 Macron kits are available for purchase here.
